Why we tested Triple Whale

Tracking has been the single most painful piece of infrastructure for DTC operators since iOS 14. We tested Triple Whale because it is the most cited attribution layer in Shopify operator circles, and because the alternative — running blind on Meta's reported ROAS — has cost real money for the people we talked to. We ran a 30-day test on an internal Shopify store doing roughly USD 80K/month across Meta and Google.

Best for

Triple Whale is best for DTC stores running multi-channel paid acquisition (Meta + TikTok + Google + sometimes Snap or Reddit) with at least USD 50K/month in ad spend. The first-party pixel and blended attribution dashboards are where the value concentrates. We'd hold off on Pro until you've used Growth for at least two months and can name a specific Sonar use case.
