Editorial Policy
Last updated 2026-05-24.
This page documents our internal editorial standards so you can hold us to them.
Editorial independence
Tool selection, scoring, and ranking decisions are made by editors, not by sales or affiliate partners. We reject affiliate offers for tools we do not believe in and have done so multiple times.
Sponsorship and paid placement
We do not accept sponsored reviews, paid rankings, or 'pay-to-play' inclusion. Sponsored content, if ever introduced, would be visually distinct and labelled 'Sponsored' on every appearance.
AI-assisted content standards
Some of our content uses AI-assisted drafting and research, with human fact-checking and editing before publication. AI tools never: • generate screenshots • fabricate features or pricing • assign ratings All published content is reviewed by an editor before going live.
Corrections
If you find a factual error, email hello@solvir.net with 'correction' in the subject line. We fix verified errors within 48 hours and note material corrections in the review's update log.
Evidence sources
Every editorial review cites at least one public evidence source — vendor documentation, third-party G2/Capterra reviews, or operator interviews. Tested reviews additionally cite the test plan and dates.
